Junior Accountant (2-4 Years) – Brussels (Automotive Finance) Languages: Dutch + French + English We are supporting a leading automotive finance organisation in Brussels in the search for a talented Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-4 years of experience who wants to deepen their expertise within an international, fast-moving, and well-structured finance environment. In this role, you'll support daily accounting operations while contributing to month-end close, statutory reporting and audit activities. You'll be part of a collaborative finance department where accuracy, initiative, and continuous learning are valued. Your Key Responsibilities Daily Finance & Systems Process Sofico / Miles transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage accounts receivable and support VAT-related accounting (basic sales VAT + input VAT). Month-End / Year-End Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Assist in the preparation of annual consolidated statutory accounts. Contribute to statutory tax numbers, notes, and corporation tax return preparation. Audit & Reconciliation Liaise with external auditors during statutory audits. Support bank reconciliations, including overhead and foreign currency accounts. General Responsibilities Perform ad-hoc financial analyses, investigations and reporting tasks. Contribute to special projects as assigned by senior finance leadership. What You Bring 1-4 years' accounting experience within a structured finance or accounting environment. Experience with Sofico / Miles is highly preferred. Solid understanding of basic sales VAT and input VAT processes. Hands-on experience with accounts receivable. Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills in Dutch and French
