As a geologist, you will work as a part of the EDT team (Engineering, Design & Technology) in our HQ in Zwijndrecht, near Antwerp (Belgium). Close follow-up, coaching and guidance will be provided by Senior colleagues in our geologist team. Next to Geology, the EDT team in activity line Dredging provides support as well in Geotechnics, Coastal Engineering, Environmental engineering, Production and Wear & Tear expertise. This makes the EDT team highly diverse in expertise and as such complementary to cover many expert aspects in supporting our projects.

1. Preparation and coordination of geophysical / geotechnical site investigations: all site investigation techniques are explored and this worldwide
2. Geological data interpretation / geological desk studies and data management.
3. Geological 3D‐modelling (including different software knowledge, data integration, automation, geostatistics, etc.).
4. Collaboration with tender and project teams, both during the preparation phase and the execution phase of our projects.
5. You will receive in-house advanced training in various marine aspects of geology and all related DEME topics. You will be based in Belgium, but short to longer missions abroad are also part of your job.

1. You are a qualified geologist / Master Degree (engineering‐geologist or geophysicist), preferably specialized in marine geology.
2. You are a dynamic, flexible person, able to work alone, in groups, and in a multicultural environment abroad.
3. You speak and write fluently in English; knowledge of other languages is a bonus.
4. Affinity with GIS-software, Python programming, and Dbase platforms are strong assets.
5. You're eager to travel and explore new locations as a large part of your job.
