JOB TITLE: APPLICATION ENGINEER

WORK MODE: 100%FULLTIME (HYBRID 3 DAYS ONSITE PER WEEK)

CONTRACT DURATION: ASAP - END OF MAY 2027+POSSIBILE OF EXTENSION

JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The assignment

Architect and develop proof-of-concept applications for interactive and audience-facing stage experiences
Work in a focused agile software team that can (re)prioritize goals based on client feedback
Collaborate with artistic and technical partners to integrate with existing software and hardware systems
Understand user needs and translate them into practical software solutions
Develop, deploy and maintain fullstack applications, APIs and edge AI components
Setup an automated Quality Assurance and testing system

Required knowledge and skills

Strong experience with TypeScript and Python
Experience in backend/API and frontend development (e.G. React, Vue, Svelte)
Experience with infrastructure setup and Infrastructure as Code - Knowledge of CI/CD and software deployment practices xirbnpk
Experience running CUDA-accelerated AI/LLM models on edge devices (e.G. Jetson)
High degree of autonomy and ownership
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Able to combine architectural thinking with hands-on implementation
Affinity with music technology, MIDI, or digital sheet music is a plus
Experience with Unity/Unreal engine
