Our client, a leading international player in the renewable energy sector, is looking for a highly motivated Electrical QC Inspector to join their professional team. What you will do:

• Inspections of electrical installations: Perform inspections on electrical installations within offshore wind turbine transition pieces.
• Checking incoming installations: Inspect wiring, connections and other incoming electrical installations.
• Guidance and control: Guide the inspection by clients and check the work of subcontractors.
• AREI and specifications: Develop the affinity and ability to understand AREI and other specifications.
• Functional testing and grounding: Perform functional tests and ensure correct earthing and bounding.
• Documentation and responsibility: Ensure detailed notes and take responsibility for reporting.

Your profile:

• Affinity with electricity: You have a strong interest in electricity. You have a TSO degree in electricity or have several years of relevant experience which enables you to understand and interpret the AREI and foreign standards, and to read electrical plans.
• You have an EU nationality or a Belgium unlimited work permit. (NO sponsorship available)
• Communication skills: You are able to communicate effectively with both contractors and clients about technical details.
• Safety and flexibility: Safety is your top priority, and you have no fear of heights. You are flexible and willing to adapt to changing production objectives.
• Problem-solving ability: You are a creative problem solver who acts proactively and gets things done, with the necessary assertiveness towards clients.
• Willingness to learn and readiness: You are willing to follow paid training courses and obtain certificates such as a VCA certificate through the employer.
• Language skills: English, Dutch is a great plus
• PC skills: You can work smoothly with programs such as MS Office.
