Descriptif mission

Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/ …), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. More than a 100 airlines, lessors, private aircraft operators and MRO partners have entrusted their engines to our company. We employ over 300 highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic employees.

As a Subcontracting Officer, your mission is to ensure the physical and administrative monitoring of subcontracted parts and the engine completion process. You will also ensure that subcontracting is carried out within the requested deadlines (subcontractor TAT/complete engine), in compliance with quality, administrative, and financial regulations.

Your profile:

  1. Upper secondary education or equivalent experience.
  2. Knowledge of common software (MS Office), ERP, and specific SAESB programs.
  3. Understanding of various aircraft engine parts and the subcontracting process for external repairs.
  4. Ability to work conscientiously, following administrative and quality instructions.
  5. Capable of anticipating and analyzing problems, assessing potential consequences, and proposing practical solutions.
  6. Ability to independently organize, distribute, and control your own work, escalating issues when necessary.
  7. Proficient in Dutch and/or French and English.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work & residence permit. Please note that we do not provide assistance with visa or permit applications.
