We are currently looking for a Java Developer to join our growing client in Brussels.
Project:
- Work on a variety of projects related to Council core business domains.
End-to-End Development:
- Lead the complete software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
Backend Logic and Databases:
- Architect, implement, and maintain server-side logic and databases for optimal performance.
Server Configuration and Deployment:
- Configure web servers, deploy applications, and manage cloud-based infrastructure.
API Development and Integration:
- Design, document, and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless communication.
Version Control and Collaboration:
- Enforce Git-based version control, collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient development.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure high code quality.
Containerization and Orchestration:
- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for scalable and reliable application deployment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Problem Solving and Debugging:
- Troubleshoot issues, participate in debugging, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Profile:
- Professional experience in the field of at least 8 years.
- Expert knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of Agile principles.
- Good understanding of SOLID principles.
- Good team player with strong soft skills; proficient in English.
- Master's degree in IT field.
