We're looking for an experienced Back-End Developer to join our team and contribute to exciting, high-impact projects within the FT TISA domain (trading-related applications). If you're passionate about building scalable back-end systems and enjoy working in Agile environments, this could be the perfect role for you Role Overview As a Back-End Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain back-end applications and integration services. You'll work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and contribute to the overall software architecture. ️ Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain robust back-end applications and integration services Translate user stories and business requirements into high-quality technical solutions Work independently and collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum environment Contribute to API development, database integrations, and unit testing Apply best practices and design principles to ensure clean, maintainable code Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills Strong proficiency in .NET with C# Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Expertise in async/await, OOP, and SOLID principles Experience with ORM: Entity Framework or NHibernate Strong API development skills: REST or gRPC Experience using OpenAPI/Swagger Strong knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL/MySQL) Version control experience: Git or similar SCM tools Testing & Quality Experience with unit testing Familiarity with mocking frameworks (e.g., Moq, NSubstitute) Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills Ability to work independently Collaborative mindset with Agile experience Proficiency in English (Dutch or French is a plus) Educational Requirements A degree in a technical field OR At least 5 years of hands-on experience in back-end development and integration services
