SAP Integration Specialist - English & Dutch or French SpeakingWhitehall Resources require an SAP Integration Specialist to work with a key client on a 12 month contract.*Candidate will need to be fluent in English and Dutch OR French*Onsite work in Brussels required 2-3 days per week.SAP Integration SpecialistDescription As an SAP Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining advanced integrations between SAP systems and other business applications or external systems. You'll work closely with a variety of teams, including SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts, to identify integration needs and deliver solutions that meet business goals and requirements. Your expertise in SAP integration will be vital in optimizing business processes, improving data flow, and ensuring system consistency and reliability. Responsibilities: * Analyze business needs and requirements to identify and design integration solutions that work seamlessly with existing SAP systems. * Develop and implement integration scenarios using various technologies such as SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP NetWeaver Gateway, RESTful APIs, and other middleware solutions. * Drafting technical specifications, design documents, and test plans for integration projects. * Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to solve integration issues and define best practices. * Perform integration tests, debug issues, and ensure successful implementation of integration solutions. * Supporting users and teams in understanding the integrations, providing training if needed, and providing technical support for operational issues. * Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of integration architectures. Evaluation CriteriaTechnical expertise in SAP integration Degree to which the employee has in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP NetWeaver Gateway, RESTful APIs, and other middleware technologies. Design and development skills Quality and efficiency of integrated solutions designed and developed — including compliance with standards, reusability, scalability, and performance. Analytical skills Ability to analyze business needs, correctly translate integration requirements into technical specifications, and identify and resolve root causes of problems. Compliance with procedures and documentation Extent to which the employee consistently complies with internal agreements regarding documentation, release management, change management and test plans. Problem-solving skills Speed and effectiveness in resolving integration issues, including debugging, testing, and reconciliation with internal and external parties. Collaboration and communication Quality of collaboration with SAP consultants, developers, analysts and external suppliers, as well as clarity in communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Independence and responsibility Ability to independently manage projects from request to hypercare phase, with minimal intervention from the executive. Innovation and process improvement Initiative and contribution to improving integration architectures, processes and standards, including identifying optimization opportunities. Knowledge transfer and guidance Effectiveness in training, supporting, and guiding end users or business partners in the use of new procedures or integrations. Conformity Criteria * A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Science, or a related field. * Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in designing, developing, and implementing SAP integrations in a complex business environment. * In-depth knowledge of SAP PI/PO, CPI, NetWeaver Gateway, and other integration technologies and tools. * Demonstrable experience with evaluation of integration designs * Speaks fluently English with a good level of Dutch or French * Can be present onsite at least 2 days a week.
