We are seeking a team leader to join our Account Management team within the Commercial Division. You will oversee a team managing a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK, Ireland, and Luxembourg, while also managing a small portfolio of clients themselves.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a team that handles activities across multiple services and business areas for their assigned client base.
  • Lead and support the team in executing their roles effectively, by prioritizing tasks efficiently and clearly defining the roles and responsibilities of the account managers, and other client facing teams.
  • Coaching, supporting, and fostering a positive team environment.
  • Work with the team to ensure relevant resources are allocated to meet the client's needs effectively, stepping in to provide back up support when required.
  • Organizing weekly whiteboards and organize one on one sessions with team members.
  • Improve efficiency, while providing excellent client support, ensuring client relationships continue to grow. Contribute to the objective of meeting client satisfaction while remaining within our risk appetite.
  • Take full ownership by evaluating problems, creating, and defending innovative proposals and defining solutions that go beyond strict roles and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for the support of educating clients and guiding them, along with the team, to training services within the group.
  • Promote and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate and work with team leaders within the Account Management team.

Required qualifications:

  • Good understanding of all Euroclear Bank's products.
  • Experience in client facing roles.
  • Recognizing the client's needs, involves interacting with other departments, requiring strong social skills and the ability to understand and influence effectively.
  • Managing escalations raised by the team and clients swiftly.
  • Abilities to solve problems and resolve conflicts.
  • Being able to support the Sales & Relationship Manager in delivering a seamless service to our clients to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English is necessary, other language skills are a plus.
  • Prioritizing tasks, to coordinate several priorities at once, taking into consideration any potential risk.
  • Stress resistant.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to mentor people and engage the team.
  • Good organization and prioritization skills
  • Good analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
