The Role:


As a Manager within the Restructuring & Turnaround practice, you will play a central role in delivering advisory mandates for distressed, underperforming or financially challenged businesses. You will work across a wide range of situations - from early warning and prevention, through operational and financial restructuring, to turnaround execution and refinancing support


  • Lead workstreams on complex restructuring and turnaround engagements, managing the day-to-day delivery and quality of client output.
  • Prepare and review independent business reviews (IBRs), turnaround business plans, liquidity analyses and cash flow forecasts for distressed companies.
  • Support financial restructuring processes including creditor negotiations, debt restructuring and refinancing advisory.
  • Conduct operational diagnostic assessments and translate strategic turnaround initiatives into concrete, executable pl
  • ans.Interface directly with client management teams, boards, lenders, investors and other stakeholders throughout the advisory process.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members (Analysts and Senior Analysts), ensuring high standards of analytical rigour and client delivery.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, supporting Partners and Directors in originating new mandates and building client relationships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm's European offices on cross-border restructuring situations, leveraging the integrated international platform


Candidate Profile:


  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in restructuring, turnaround advisory, distressed M&A, special situations or corporate recovery - gained at a consulting firm, investment bank, Big Four advisory practice or specialist restructuring boutique.
  • Strong understanding of financial restructuring mechanics including debt advisory, creditor negotiations, covenant analysis, liquidity management and working capital optimisation.
  • Proven ability to manage complex workstreams and client relationships independently.
  • Solid financial modelling skills, including business plan construction, scenario analysis and cash flow forecasting.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups - management teams, shareholders, banks, bondholders and sponsor in challenging, time-sensitive situations.
  • Fluent English and French or Dutch
  • Strong academic background from a leading university or business school.
