Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Splunk Developer to join our customer’s dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Splunk applications and solutions to analyze and visualize machine-generated data. This role involves creating custom dashboards, reports, and alerts to meet the organization's needs.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Act as the dedicated technical advisor towards the customer within the consultant's skill scope.
- Gather technical needs from the customer and propose the most adapted solutions.
- Define architecture and participate in the conception of technical solutions.
- Realize advisory and expertise missions.
- Support Account Managers during the presales phase, including “Proof of Concept” realization, writing Statements of Work, technical solutions presentations, and preparing technical aspects for all calls for tenders.
- Implement and support operational teams during rollout phases.
- Manage and ensure engagement on deliverables in due time within the consultant's skill scope.
- Maintain updated general skills on network security (best practices, protocols, security fundamentals, risks identification, methodology, etc.).
- Continuously update technical skills through certifications, self-training, or following defined personal targets.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputed University.
- Splunk Certification (Admin / Architect).
- Experience with logging tools: Splunk, Syslog, etc.
- Experience in developing dashboards on various Splunk systems.
- Proficiency in English and French or Dutch.
- Committed, self-taught, and proactive.
- Driving License (Category B).
- Good knowledge in computer science, including networking (switching & routing, DNS, NTP, etc.), Windows & Unix OS; a security mindset is a plus.
- Client-facing experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player who enjoys challenges.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
