Welding Engineer

As a welding engineer, you will prepare welding filesthoroughly and supervise their execution.

Youare technically responsible for the project from A to Z and havethe following tasks:

• Drawing upwelding files in accordance with codes and customerrequirements
• Organising and following upwelding tests and the associatedadministration
• Optimising existing weldingprocesses
• Supporting and advising otherdepartments such as sales, project managers, technical draughtsmen,designers and production
• Contributing towelding improvements
• Qualifying welders anddrawing up the necessarydocumentation

• Besides a bachelor/master diplola, you arein possession of the diploma IWE or IWT or willing to getone
• Relevant experience in the metal sector isa plus
• You have knowledge of welding proceduresand related standards (or you are willing to learnthis)
• Experience with quality management is aplus- You have a social attitude and arecommunicative
• You have a flexible attitude andare willing to learn and grow in terms of tasks andresponsibilities
• You have a good knowledge ofthe common software packages
• You have a goodknowledge of the English language
