Within our PMO & Portfolio Management department with the mission of ensuring the continued quality of our products and services, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead strategic projects within the life insurance sector, focusing on driving core business and commercial related projects.

Your responsibilities

  1. Leading and managing strategic projects within the life insurance sector, focusing on core business and commercial related objectives ensuring adherence to project management best practices.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project goals, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and commercial strategies.
  3. Developing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and overseeing project execution to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery while maximizing business value and commercial outcomes.
  4. Utilizing project management experience / consulting background, skills and methodologies to provide strategic guidance and insights, identify opportunities for business improvement, and drive organizational change to achieve project objectives.
  5. Identifying and mitigating project risks and proactively managing project dependencies to minimize disruptions and optimize success.
  6. Monitoring project progress, ensuring quality and transparent updates to stakeholders.
  7. Fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment, promoting innovation and creativity in driving business growth and commercial success.
  8. Ensuring effective stakeholder management and communication, building strong relationships with internal and external partners to support project objectives and enhance business outcomes.
  9. Supporting post-implementation activities for continuous improvement and innovation in business and commercial projects.

Your profile

  1. You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, finance, or related field or the equivalent experience.
  2. You have a PMP certification or equivalent project management credential preferred.
  3. You have 5 to 10 years of senior-level experience in project management, preferable with a consulting background, focused on driving business and commercial initiatives within the insurance industry.
  4. You have a strong understanding of business and commercial principles, with proven experience in delivering projects that contribute to revenue growth and profitability.
  5. You have a good knowledge of project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
  6. You have proven experience in successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  7. You have excellent knowledge of French or Dutch and a good command of the other national language and are comfortable working in English.
  8. You have excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  9. You are able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  10. You are quality and client oriented.
  11. You are autonomous, a fast learner and can take the initiative quickly.
  12. You have knowledge of the Insurance sector.
