Schelstraete Delacourt is op zoek naar een Operations Manager voor één van haar klanten. Het betreft een sterk groeiend, hoogtechnologisch bedrijf in regio Gent binnen de food- en feed-sector.De Operations Manager zal als deel van het managementteam instaan voor de transformatie van de operations binnen het bedrijf en sterk focussen op procesverbetering en change management met oog op duurzame groei, en verbetering van efficiëntie en kwaliteit. Hij/zij zal rapporteren aan de General Manager.De Operations Manager:Draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid over de operationele activiteiten van het bedrijf, goed voor 60+ FTE verdeelt over verschillende teams, met een sterke focus op coaching en het stimuleren van team development;Zal sterk inzetten op Operational Excellence, van het incrementeel optimaliseren van processen tot het definiëren van structurele verbeteringen, alsook het change management en menselijke aspect dat hiermee gepaard gaat;Zal als deel van het managementteam instaan voor het definiëren van de operationele strategie van het bedrijf, in lijn met de overkoepelende bedrijfsstrategie;Beheert alle operationele doelstellingen en definieert duidelijke acties met het oog op betrouwbare resultaten en het efficiënt realiseren van oplevering naar klanten binnen de afgesproken termijn;De ideale kandidaat:Beschikt over een masterdiploma in een STEM richting of gelijkwaardig door ervaring;Heeft ervaring in een productieomgeving waar efficiëntie en kwaliteit centraal staan;Heeft ervaring met het analyseren van data in het kader van procesoptimalisatie en heeft ervaring met Continuous Improvement projecten. Kennis van QRM en Lean Six Sigma is een plus;Heeft ervaring met het managen van teams, zowel direct als indirect;Heeft een trackrecord in het succesvol implementeren van transformaties en het begeleiden van change projecten;Heeft een goede kennis van het Nederlands; Herken je jezelf in bovenstaande vacature?
