Job Title: Software EngineerLocation: GhentAbout the Role: We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing development team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable software solutions used by healthcare professionals. Our ideal candidate is passionate about creating high-quality, user-friendly applications and enjoys working in a collaborative, agile environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and QA, to deliver new features and improve existing functionality.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable codeParticipate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software engineering.Ensure software quality through automated testing and continuous integration.Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in software development with strong proficiency in C++ or Angular.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles.Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL).Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).Knowledge of healthcare or practice management systems.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.Offer:Competitive salary and full benefits package.Opportunity to work on meaningful projects that improve everyday workflows in the healthcare space.Supportive, collaborative, and innovative team culture.Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
