Freelance RF Designer – Product Specialist

My client is searching for an RF Designer to join their division on a freelance basis. As a Product Specialist, you wear many hats in the company. You are indispensable in every step of the process and a true cornerstone for your team. Not only do you support sales, but you also play a crucial role in product development, engineering and maintaining internal knowledge to improve the efficiency of various projects.

What will you do?

Your task consists of both supporting sales in making RF designs in collaboration with partner systems, but also to support our team of RF technicians in their field activities.

You will work closely with other departments to keep up with technological changes and guide the implementation of new products.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Sales: You support sales to stay up to date in technological changes. As an expert, you are the go-to person for questions and provide the necessary expertise to partners.

• Expertise: You will investigate shifts in the technology market, align current needs with available products and maintain contacts with suppliers, customers and partners to stay ahead of the market.

• Product: You manage an internal knowledge library of products, tools and designs. You ensure that both hardware and software needed for high-quality and working installations are used in the right way. You support internal processes and the analysis of data from the field.

• Engineering: You test, arrange and document best-practices for design software, measurement hardware and analysis tools from A to Z. In addition, you constantly strive to improve existing techniques and you always look ahead in terms of efficiency and automation of analyses.

• Carry out site survey, maintenance and interventions

• Collect and process data from different sources

• Turning on connectors

• Implantation and implementation of antenna and repeater systems

• Consulting with colleagues

• Follow-up of projects Profile

Ideal Profile

• You are not only tech-savvy, but a true evangelist in the field of technology

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the RF domain

• Passive DAS systems are no stranger to you

• You are eager to learn and you want to increase your own knowledge and share it with others

• You can easily handle new software

• You are motivated and think along in finding solutions

• You are a real team player

• VCA is a plus

• Knowledge of Ranplan is a plus

Onsite Policy: 2-3 Days Onsite/Remote Negotiable
