Nuclear medicine has evolved considerably over recent years with the emergence of radiotheranostics, a modality which combines targeted diagnosis and therapy with radio-isotopes. It offers an important and promising alternative in the treatment of many cancers. Radiotheranostics is based on the use of radioisotopes which, when they decay, emit radiation that enables cancer cells to be precisely located and/or destroyed. Among these radioisotopes, the alpha-emitting Actinium-225 is one of the most promising for therapeutic purposes.One of the main challenges to making this therapeutic solution accessible for the greatest number of patients is ensuring the availability of high-quality Actinium-225 in large quantities. It is often referred to within the community as "the rarest drug on Earth". By joining their unique expertise and resources, SCK CEN and IBA have launched the company PanTera, which aims at enabling the production of large-scale quantities of Actinium-225.In this context, PanTera is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator . The role is critical to customer satisfaction and supply reliability, particularly for time-critical, high-value, and regulated shipments, with a direct impact on patient access to essential therapies. By ensuring timely and compliant deliveries, you will directly contribute to making life-saving treatments accessible to patients worldwide.ResponsibilitiesOutbound shipment coordinationPlan, prepare, and execute all outbound customer shipments according to delivery planningCoordinate shipment timing with production release, QA batch release, and customer delivery windowsSelect appropriate transport modes and carriers (courier, air freight, specialized transport)Ensure shipments meet temperature, packaging, security, and time-critical requirementsDocumentation & compliancePrepare and verify shipping documentation , including:Commercial invoicesPacking listsTransport documentsExport/import documentation (customs declarations, licenses if applicable)Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and customer-specific requirementsMaintain accurate shipment records and traceabilityCarrier & Freight managementInterface with freight forwarders, couriers, and specialized logistics providersRequest quotes, compare options, and book shipmentsMonitor shipment execution and actively follow up until final deliveryManage escalations in case of delays, deviations, or incidentsCustomer interfaceAct as the logistics point of contact for customers regarding deliveriesCommunicate shipment status, tracking information, and delivery confirmationsProactively inform customers of any delays or changes , proposing mitigation actions.Internal coordinationActively participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to review customer demand, shipment forecasts, and delivery commitmentsWork closely with Sales for customer relationship, Finance for invoicing alignment and freight cost tracking, Operations for package pick-ups and Quality for batch releasesProfileBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations , or equivalent experience5+ years experience in logistics coordination, preferably outbound or customer deliveryCertification in Dangerous Good Transport (e.g. IATA DGR, ADR) required or strongly preferredExperience in regulated, hazardous, time-critical, or high-value logistics is a strong asset.Experience in working with an ERP and MS ExcelExperience working in a GMP manufacturing environmentStrong organizational and planning skillsAbility to manage multiple shipments in parallel under time pressureGood communication skills, efficient communication with internal & external stakeholdersGood oral and written communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)You are alsoEager to learn new fields and continuously update your knowledgeAnalytical and rigorous, driven, pro-active and stress-resistantAble to identify the root cause of issues thanks to your good analytical skillsCustomer-oriented with a strong sense of ownershipCapable of working autonomously and making decisionsComfortable working in a high-responsibility, compliance-driven environmentA flexible person, willing to spend time on site (Mol, Belgium)Passionate and willing to contribute to a meaningful mission
