Account Manager Chemicals
POSITION
As Account Manager, you take care of the further development and follow-up of existing customers within our Industrials (Chemicals and Liquids) business unit. Alongside this, you are responsible for building long-term customer relationships by offering optimal and proactive services.
Customers always come first for you. You manage projects that involve close contact with our customers. As their first point of contact, you not only answer questions, but also communicate proactively about the status of projects. You strive to collaborate optimally with operations, and you communicate clearly with your colleagues. You also continue to be involved once projects have been delivered, by organizing the necessary support for existing customers. Thanks to the key role you play, you can work with customers to seek out new opportunities. In this role, you report to the Commercial Manager Belgium.
PROFILE
You hold at least a bachelor's degree or have the equivalent knowledge and skills through experience. You have a background in commercial logistics, and the world of freight forwarding holds no secrets for you. You have experience and/or a network in the chemicals/liquids sector. Experience of managing projects with clients would be a significant advantage. You are skilled at finding solutions and driving improvements. You are a strong written and verbal communicator. You speak fluent Dutch and English, and ideally have knowledge of French too. Customer focus is paramount to you, and you are a networker and solution-seller.
