USG Professionals is looking for a MicroStrategy Specialist for our client in the Brussels region (2 days/week). This can be either as a USG Project Consultant or on a Freelance basis

As a MicroStrategy Specialist, you will be responsible for the management and support of a dedicated Windows server with MicroStrategy 10. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of reporting and data management within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Server Management: Manage a dedicated Windows server with MicroStrategy 10, including a smaller test server.
• User Support: Provide support to users in using MicroStrategy and resolve any technical issues.
• Reporting: Create new reports and modify or update existing reports to meet business requirements.
• User Management: Manage user accounts and access rights within MicroStrategy.
• Data Archiving: Perform annual data archiving to prevent the database from becoming too large and optimize performance.
• Future Planning: Prepare for future evolutions and upgrades within MicroStrategy, especially after the completion of the ERP migration.

• Experience in managing MicroStrategy environments (version 10 or higher).
• Strong knowledge of Windows server management.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in creating and maintaining reports.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach to user support.
• Proactive mindset focused on process optimization and improvement.
