Job Description:

We are looking for an R&D Master Data Manager to support the implementation of Johnson & Johnson as an IM Transcend Master Data Manager for R&D. The location of this position is Beerse, Titusville, Horsham, or Malvern. As part of the Innovative Medicine Transcend program, you will have the outstanding opportunity to be a key player in the modernization of our foundational master data processes for R&D

Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one "clean" ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. The program will simplify the Innovative Medicine ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes in order to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Innovative Medicine business with agility.

Role Description:
  1. Lead the data workstream end to end as part of the R&D Transcend team and ensure R&D and clinical data requirements are included in the scope of Transcend IM.
  2. Work with the Transcend Global Template Owner and workstream for master data and migration, as well as with the R&D functional leads (plan & source, make, quality, deliver and customer excellence, finance, study master, end to end integration).
  3. Be part of the program master data governance forum representing R&D.
  4. Lead the migration strategy for R&D and work closely with JJT on data-related integration topics.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the R&D Transcend data workstream and deliver the deliverables for this workstream as part of the Transcend program.
  2. Create the R&D Master Data & Data migration strategy aligned with the global Transcend template owners.
  3. Create the deliverables for master data as defined by the program (Business user Stories, key design decisions, data definition document, data flow mapping…).
  4. Create Transcend R&D Data Concept Book.
  5. Support preparation of the build and different testing phases.
  6. Act as change agent towards the business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  1. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biology, Logistics, or Information Technology is required or equivalent experience.
  2. Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent certification is an asset.
  3. APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification is an asset.
Experience and Skills Required:
  1. Minimum of 6-8 years of related work experience.
  2. Advanced use of SAP with focus on master data processes and workflow.
  3. Good understanding of supply chain end to end (business process linkages across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance and Master Data).
  4. Good track record of successfully implementing global business templates.
  5. Experience with data migration.
  6. Good interpersonal and project management skills.
  7. Global, end-to-end attitude is required as we work in global virtual teams.
  8. Ability to think transformational (no status quo).
  9. Understanding of the GxP, compliance rules for Pharma and/or Clinical.
  10. Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
  11. Flexibility to travel as needed to support global implementation efforts.
Preferred:
  1. Experience working in a global/regional setting, or experience in a large-scale business transformation program.
  2. Understanding of Clinical Trial management.
  3. Experience with Agile methodology and program deployment methodology including Jira.

Fluent in English. Limited travel.
