Their products are used in applications across healthcare, consumer electronics, food, and cosmetics.With a strong research and development foundation, they translate technology into integrated solutions ready for high-volume production.Within the multidisciplinary engineering team, Cross Internation is looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer who will play a key technical role in the definition, coordination and realization of the technological products of Spectricity. Your role within the company:As Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you are a technical authority within your domain. You report to the Team Lead Computer Vision Engineering and act as an expert and trusted advisor for management, colleagues and customers. You take ownership of complex technical topics and help steer projects to a successful outcome through deep expertise and hands-on contribution.You work closely with engineering, product development and external partners, ensuring that computer vision algorithms are robust, scalable and well-integrated with hardware and software systems.Your responsibilities as Senior CV Engineer:Research, design and implement improvements in the image processing pipeline, combining RGB with multi-spectral sensingDevelop advanced algorithms that convert sensor data into meaningful and reliable informationApply and combine classical image processing, machine learning and data analysis to solve real-world challenges (e.g. auto-white balancing, calibration, robustness)Act as technical expert in the integration of hardware, software and algorithmsTake an active role in project execution: define technical approaches, mitigate risks and support timely deliveryAnalyze customer use cases and ecosystems, define system requirements and translate them into concrete technical solutionsAdvise product management and engineering leads on technical feasibility, trade-offs and long-term impactContribute to technical decisions, standards and best practices within the teamSupport and coach less experienced engineers through knowledge sharing and technical guidanceReporting & collaboration:You report to the Team Lead Computer Vision EngineeringYou collaborate closely with other senior engineers, team leads and cross-functional teams (product, test, operations, business development)You act as a technical point of contact for customers and partners, providing expert input and translating needs into solid solutionsTechnical knowledge:You have:Strong proficiency in Python and Git, with high standards for software quality, implementation and verificationExperience with ISP design flow and RGB pipelinesHands-on knowledge of spectral image analysis and computer visionProven experience in applied machine learning and AI-based solutions (e.g., using Keras/Tensorflow)A strong understanding of signal processing and data managementConfidence in all phases of algorithm development: from ideation and feasibility studies to defining data protocols and evaluating model performanceEssential soft skills:Expert mindset with a natural advisory attitudeAbility to maintain an overview while keeping attention to detailSolution-oriented and result-drivenAble to perform under pressure and stay focusedAble to work autonomously while collaborating effectivelyEmpathetic and communicative, both internally and externallyEducation and experience:Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field (PhD is a plus)Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in image processing and computer visionWhat we offer:A flat company structure with real impact and visibilityChallenging work in a fast-changing and growing environmentDirect influence on end products and quick feedback on your contributionsExposure to international collaboration and diverse culturesA competitive salary package with a range of extra benefits:Meal vouchersGroup insurance, hospitalization and outpatient coverage12 additional compensation days (ADV)Flexible telework optionsCompany car or mobility alternativesBonus and warrant planLocation:We are in the province of Antwerp and are easily accessible by car and public transport.
