We are seeking a MEMS engineer (measurements and automation) to support the characterization and development of next-generation MEMS and microsystem technologies. In this role, you will contribute to experimental testing, setup development, and measurement automation within a multidisciplinary R&D environment.You will play a key role in executing measurement campaigns, developing new characterization platforms, and ensuring accurate and reliable data acquisition to support device design and process optimization.ResponsibilitiesExecute established measurement methods for mechanical and functional characterizationDesign, build, and validate new measurement and test setups for MEMS devicesPerform data acquisition, analysis, and reportingDevelop (semi-)automated measurement systems and data-processing toolsContribute to standardization and automation of lab workflowsCollaborate closely with design, fabrication, and characterization teamsPrepare technical documentation and communicate results to stakeholdersQualificationsMaster's degree in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringHands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation and measurement systemsProficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for automation and data analysisStrong experimental and troubleshooting skillsStructured communicator with solid reporting capabilitiesComfortable working in a laboratory environment with strict safety practicesNice to haveKnowledge of microfabrication or MEMS design tools (COMSOL, ANSYS, etc.)Experience with advanced metrology or optomechanical/acoustic systems
