We operate across a variety of sectors: tech, telecommunications, creative industries, transport, agri-food, chemicals, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, services, and security/defense.As part of our ongoing expansion, we are recruiting a Public Affairs Manager to strengthen our Chemical practice. The Manager will play a critical role in leading and structuring internal processes, managing high-profile client accounts, and overseeing cross-functional teams. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public affairs initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving operational excellence within the team.Main ResponsibilitiesStrong expertise and established network within the Chemicals sector, particularly with EU policymakers and stakeholders involved in chemical regulation.Track record of successfully managing and delivering campaigns across critical chemical issues, with specific focus on REACH & CLP.Outstanding advisory skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.Design and implement comprehensive public affairs programs that align with client and organizational goals.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and media representatives.ProfileYou have 5-7 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, corporate communications, or a similar role, with proven leadership experience in managing teams and structuring internal processes.You have a strong understanding of European chemical regulation and the regulatory process.You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Communications Business Administration, or a related field.You have an excellent level of English. French or German is a plus.Your are curious and able to work with multi-disciplinary teams.You have strong client relationship management skills with a track record of delivering results.You are a strategic thinker, you demonstrate good social skills, and are able to build momentum in a campaign.OfferForward Global Group welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
