We are currently seeking a talented Head of Sales to lead and expand our sales team and drive our commercial strategy. The Opportunity The Head of Sales is responsible for establishing the commercial strategy and executing the company’s sales activities specific to our residential segment. This role is crucial in building the sales organization from the ground up. You will oversee the entire sales function, ensuring that revenue targets are met, client relationships are nurtured, and that effective procedures and dashboards are put in place for tracking performance. You will serve as a bridge between executive leadership and the sales organization, translating company objectives into actionable sales plans and ensuring accountability across the team. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Define and implement the overall sales strategy aligned with business goals. Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth initiatives. Contribute to pricing, go-to-market, and product positioning decisions. Organizational Development Establish and implement sales processes, procedures, and dashboards to ensure effective pipeline management. Ensure the sales team accurately utilizes the CRM system for tracking and reporting sales activities. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the sales organization. Team Management & Development Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing sales teams. Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations. Implement a culture of motivation and professional development. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue retention. Provide market insights and customer feedback to inform product development. Data & Performance Analysis Build a culture of monitoring sales performance through CRM systems and reporting tools. Participate in sales and operations forecasting based on opportunity management. Analyze sales metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Profile Entrepreneurial mindset capable of building an organization. Experience in the home automation market. Strong understanding of related sales channels, from wholesale to installer. Strong leadership and people management skills. Deep understanding of sales processes, negotiation, and closing strategies. Experience in working in a business line-driven organization. Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales performance tools (e.g., CRM, analytics dashboards). Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
