Mechanical Design Engineer – Robotics & Aerospace Salary: €3,500–€6,500 Gross (DOE) Location: Herentals / Antwerp – Two Office Locations Are you ready to bring futuristic machines to life? We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who thrives in 3D design, has a sharp eye for detail, and ideally brings machine building experience to the table. Whether you're designing robotic arms or components that may end up in the sky, this is your chance to be part of something extraordinary. You don't need prior experience in aerospace or robotics to apply—just the passion and technical skills to grow into it. What You'll Do Lead the 3D design process from concept to production Develop and refine detailed mechanical designs in SolidWorks (or similar CAD tools) Collaborate with engineering teams across both Herentals and Antwerp sites Work on machine-building projects with real-world impact Ensure designs are technically sound, manufacturable, and meet project timelines What You Bring A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical field Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CREO PTC) Experience or interest in machine building is a strong plus A hands-on mindset with solid mechanical knowledge Strong communication and problem-solving skills Enthusiasm for robotics, aerospace, and building complex mechanical systems What's in It for You Competitive salary: €3,500–€6,000 Gross, depending on experience Work at the cutting edge of robotics and aerospace design A fast-paced, innovative environment with two vibrant offices Real ownership over your projects and creative input Opportunities to grow, learn, and bring ideas to life Interested?
