Group HR – Strategic HR Partner | Senior Service (SRQ )
Excited to work on a project for a key player in the energy landscape? The Belgian, German and European energy landscape is in full swing. Did you know that the organization plays a crucial role in this? As part of the organization, a European transmission system operator, Elia Belgium and 50Hertz in Germany ensures the reliability and sustainability of the electricity supply in both countries. Side-by-side with other Contingent Workers and internal staff, you will play a part in building a sustainable, green and reliable energy infrastructure that stimulates economic growth and reduces our ecological footprint.
As Strategic HR Partner, you are the trusted advisor to the leadership of our Group Functions. You translate business priorities into people solutions and make sure the Group Functions have the right organisation, the right talent and the right processes in place to deliver on their ambitions. You combine a strategic advisory role with hands-on ownership of the full employee lifecycle, working closely with Finance, workforce data stakeholders and HR colleagues in the entities.
In this mission, you will:
- Partner with Group Functions leadership: act as strategic sparring partner and advise on organisational structure, workforce planning, team composition, talent decisions and organisational effectiveness.
- Attract leadership talent: define the sourcing strategy and steer the recruitment of leadership and key Group Function positions, from job posting, screening and interviews to offer management, while building a strong talent pipeline.
- Ensure a smooth employee journey: manage onboarding and offboarding for Group Function employees, including induction, system access, documentation, exit procedures and exit interviews, in close alignment with the prevailing practices in the entities.
- Govern workforce and headcount: own the FTE approval process, deliver workforce analyses and reconcile budget and headcount together with Finance and workforce data stakeholders, in line with the practices in the entities.
- Support executive reward: administer bonus, short-term incentive (STI), long-term incentive (LTI) and benefits processes for senior leadership, ensuring alignment with the Group reward frameworks.
- Develop talent and secure succession: facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development and internal mobility discussions, and embed the Group talent standards.
- Drive organisation design and transformation: bring methodologies, governance and change support, and guide the implementation of organisational redesign and transformation initiatives across Group Functions.
Requirements:
We are looking for a senior, business-minded HR professional who feels at ease advising senior leaders and who combines strategic vision with a strong sense of execution.

- Organisation design and change: Experience with organisational redesign and transformation initiatives, from methodology and governance to change support and implementation.
- Strategic and analytical thinking: Ability to translate business priorities into people solutions and to work comfortably with workforce data, headcount and budget figures.
- Strong advisory and stakeholder management skills: Credible sparring partner for senior leadership, able to challenge constructively and communicate clearly with Finance, HR colleagues and the entities.
