Cost Manager - fully remote - freelance

g2 are currently partnered with an exceptional engineering consultancy that are on the hunt for an experienced freelance Cost Manager / Senior QS to join them urgently in a fully remote freelance position, working on a large-scale hotel renovation project in Belgium.
The Role
You will be responsible for cost and commercial management across projects from initial cost planning through to completion, including:
- Cost planning, estimating and budgeting
- Tendering and procurement
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Change and variation management
- Contractor valuations and payments
- Commercial risk management
- Final accounts and cost control
- Supporting clients and project teams with commercial advice
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- 5+ years' experience in cost management / quantity surveying
- Proven experience working in the Belgian construction market
- Previous xlxgzvr renovation, refurbishment or fit-out experience
- Ideally, exposure to hospitality, hotels, accommodation, commercial or mixed-use projects
- Strong pre- and post-contract experience
- English is essential, French and/or Dutch would be desired
- Relevant degree or professional qualification preferred
