As a site supervisor, you are the central figure on site and are responsible for the daily management. No two days are the same, and you ensure that everything runs smoothly and safely. What you do: You prepare the site and organize everything needed for smooth project execution. You plan the work and personnel, and report on project progress. You supervise multiple teams in coordination with the foreman. You manage all administrative aspects of the site, from permits to the as-built documentation. You participate in site meetings and act as the primary point of contact for questions and on-site decisions. You continuously monitor and enforce safety and quality regulations on site. Education and Experience You hold at least a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or electromechanics, or are an industrial engineer in civil engineering/electromechanics. Experience as a site manager is a plus. Experience in contractor activities is an advantage, for example with government projects, piping systems, cables, or Standard Specification 250. You are proficient with computers and familiar with MS Office, MS Project, etc. You have excellent command of Dutch and a good knowledge of French and English. Personality and Competencies You remain calm and precise, even when priorities change or the schedule is busy. You are a true team player, and organizing comes naturally to you. You are a natural leader and know how to motivate people. You are flexible with working hours and have a genuine passion for the field (welding, geotechnics, etc.). You communicate smoothly and results-oriented with everyone, from the on-site team to other stakeholders. A permanent, full-time employment contract.
