Information Technology Governance ConsultantRole:This position strengthens the security posture of a major European institution. It offers the opportunity to work closely with IT Security Officers, shape secure architectures, and drive compliance across a large international environment. You will influence security practices across multiple projects, support incident response, and embed secure-by-design principles into the organisation's digital ecosystem.Responsibilities:• Maintain and develop security documentation for audits and compliance• Support drafting of security assessments and secure architecture blueprints• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing follow-ups, and remediation tracking• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation plans• Support incident categorisation and response coordination• Ensure secure application design aligned with policies and standards• Define and implement security requirements for IT projects• Promote secure development practices and support DevSecOps collaboration• Deliver training and security awareness sessions• Contribute to long-term cybersecurity strategy and access management initiativesSkills/Must have:• Strong experience with GDPR, ePrivacy, and NIS2• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10• Secure coding frameworks and cloud security best practices• Knowledge of ISO 27001. 27002. 27005• Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing processes• Strong risk assessment background• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders• Experience delivering training or awareness sessions• English C1 minimum• EU nationality or valid EU27 security clearance• Able to reach Brussels within 2 hours.
