ELECTRONIC ENGINEER - LEUVEN REGION (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITION We're currently recruiting for an Electronics Engineer who will play a key role in the design, development, and validation of electronic systems and subsystems, with a strong emphasis on analog and digital circuit design. This position combines analytical engineering work with hands-on laboratory activity, offering the opportunity to be involved in every stage of the hardware development lifecycle. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of new electronic designs from initial requirements and concepts through schematic development, prototyping, and testing. You will work closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are robust, manufacturable, and meet performance and reliability goals. The role also involves investigating and resolving technical issues, refining designs based on test results, and supporting the transition of electronics from development into production. Key Responsibilities: Design and analyze analog and digital electronic circuits for system and subsystem applications Develop schematics, select components, and support PCB layout and design reviews Assemble, bring up, and debug electronic prototypes Perform electrical testing and validation, including functional, performance, and reliability testing Troubleshoot and resolve electronic design issues during development and production Produce and maintain engineering documentation, including specifications and test reports Support manufacturing activities such as first article builds and issue resolution Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development process Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 3-5+ years of professional experience in a similar position Strong foundation in analog and digital electronics Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and debugging electronic circuits Proficiency with standard electronic lab equipment Experience using schematic capture and PCB design tools Ability to analyze and troubleshoot electronic designs effectively The Offer: A permanent, full-time employment contract A salary & benefits package commensurate with experience Please send over your CV to tom.walker@vividresourcing.com or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
