Voor onze partner, een gespecialiseerde ICT-dienstverlener, zoeken we een Technical Infrastructure Engineer in de regio Sint-Niklaas die deel wil uitmaken van een ervaren team en mee instaat voor de installatie, het beheer en de ondersteuning van IT- en POS-omgevingen binnen retailcontexten.Als Technical Infrastructure Engineer bestaat uit een aantal gevarieerde activiteiten: • Installeren, configureren en onderhouden van POS- en IT-infrastructuur bij klanten, zowel on-site als vanop afstand • Ondersteunen van klanten bij technische vragen en incidenten via telefoon, mail en ter plaatse • Analyseren van storingen en zorgen voor doeltreffende en duurzame oplossingen • Werken met een brede waaier aan hardware zoals kassa's, pc's, servers, printers, scanners, schermen en randapparatuur • Meewerken aan technische projecten en infrastructuuruitrollen binnen retailomgevingen • Zelfstandig functioneren na een grondige onboarding, met blijvende ondersteuning van collega's en teamlead • Bijdragen aan een hoge klantentevredenheid door correcte communicatie en kwaliteitsvolle oplossingen• Een bachelordiploma Informatica (systeem- en netwerkbeheer) of een graduaat Elektromechanica met relevante IT-ervaring• Passie voor IT en een brede technische interesse in infrastructuur en hardware• Ervaring of sterke affiniteit met Windows Server-omgevingen en netwerken (Active Directory, routing, VLAN, WiFi, internet, …)• Kennis van security-oplossingen zoals endpoint- en e-mailbeveiliging• Vertrouwdheid met virtualisatieplatformen zoals VMware en Hyper-V• Interesse in next-generation firewalling, VPN- en SD-WAN-oplossingen• Kennis van Azure en Microsoft 365 geldt als een pluspunt• Klantgerichtheid staat centraal: denken in oplossingen en helder communiceren is essentieel• Vlotte kennis van het Nederlands en Engels.Als Technical Infrastructure Engineer mag je rekenen op uitgebreide trainingen en opleidingen om jezelf te ontplooien op professioneel vlak.
