Mission

Carrefour Belgium is looking forward to hiring a Cloud software Solution Architect with relevant experience in designing cloud native solutions (mobile apps, E-commerce, …) within GCP. Previous experience with Google cloud solutions and/of Salesforcewould be a big plus.

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a talented Google Cloud software Architect to design our company's cloud architecture.

As a Google Cloud Architect, you play a strategic role and are responsible for the cloud design of different projects.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Google cloud platform, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud.

You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge.

Responsibilities

Create architectural design for the projects assigned to you, inline with the cloud strategy. Create software design based on well known software patterns. Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software. You’ll take charge of discussions, workshops and brainstorming sessions with our clients, and you’ll sum up your advice in an architectural design. Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy. Offer guidance in serverless solutions into the cloud.

Profile

Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field. 3-5+ years' experience as an IT architect is a must. Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work. Excellent knowledge of google cloud computing technologies and architectural design trends. Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud designs to management and other IT development partners. Capability to communicate fluently in Dutch & English or French.

Skills

Enterprise architecture tools as Leanix & Sparx. Google Cloud platform - Google Cloud architect certification. Knowledge of Python, Go , HTML5, css, react, java. Knowledge of patterns Microservices, Event Driven Design, Domain Driven Design. Knowledge of Togaf, DDD, LEANIX, Sparx , BPMN, UML is an advantage. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
