Data Scientist (80% bij Vlaamse onderwijsinspectie) via Vlaanderen connect M/V/X Als Data Scientist zal je meewerken aan de volgende opdrachten: Analyseren van de gevraagde requirements voor een dataproduct en vertalen naar een concrete oplossing. Evalueren van de technische haalbaarheid, beheersbaarheid en kostefficiëntie van een dataproduct en voorstellen van verbeteringen hieromtrent. Inschattingen maken van de benodigde tijd en ondersteuning geven bij het opstellen van planningen. Koppelen van databronnen (databases, API`s, .) aan het dataplatform en opzetten van datapipelines met behulp van gestandaardiseerde bouwstenen. Schrijven van ETL-code om data te transformeren. Schrijven van complexe SQL-queries (joins, aggregaties, views, .) om de gewenste datasets voor dataproducten te creëren. Opzetten van het rechtenmodel van een dataproduct. Testen en valideren van dataproducten om de kwaliteit en integriteit te borgen en testbevindingen oplossen. Documenteren van de end-to-end oplossing Ondersteuning leveren bij problemen, performance issues, . Meedenken aan procesverbeteringen en -optimalisaties. We zijn op zoek naar een kandidaat met minstens drie jaar ervaring als Data Scientist. Hogere opleiding (Master of Bachelor) met technische/engineering of bedrijfseconomische achtergrond of gelijkwaardig door ervaring Algemene kennis van basisconcepten data warehouse, data mesh, data integratie (ETL), rapportering & analyse (BI), databanken en metadata Kennis van data load en refresh strategieën Een minimaal begrip hebben van hoe datasets performant gemaakt kunnen worden Een minimaal begrip hebben van continuous integration en continuous delivery (CI/CD) Ervaring met projectgericht werken in een agile data omgeving Volgende technische competenties zijn belangrijk: Ervaring in het schrijven van complexe SQL-queries (joins, aggregaties, views, .) Ervaring in het koppelen van databronnen en het opzetten van data pipelines (Airflow) Ervaring in data transformatie (DBT) Ervaring met Git als versiebeheertool (codebeoordeling door middel van pull-verzoeken) Ervaring in het opstellen test scenario`s en het uitvoeren van test scripts Kennis van gedistribueerde query engines (Presto, Trino, Starburst, .) Vaardigheden hebben in Python om complexere gegevenstransformaties of -ontsluiting uit te voeren (Optioneel) Vlaanderen Connect biedt een contract van 30,4 uur voor onbepaalde duur en een competitief salarispakket met: ?
