A good client of mine based in Brussels is looking for a lead data engineer to join their R&D team.Role/Responsibilities Architect and build a modern, scalable data platform from the ground up, leveraging best-in-class data lake and warehousing patterns.Develop a robust and generic framework for ingesting data from a wide variety of APIs, ensuring high data quality and near real-time availability.Build, deploy, and operate resilient, high-performance data pipelines in a cloud environment.Collaborate closely with senior software engineers to ensure seamless integration between operational and analytical systems.Partner directly with traders and quants to understand their needs and deliver data solutions that give them a competitive edge.Lay the foundation for future MLOps and real-time modeling capabilities.Package growth opportunity as a team lead up to €7000 gross monthly salary company car, meal vouchers, pension scheme, dental & health insurance hybrid working structure (4 days at home, 1 onsite) chance to contribute to impactful work centered around green energy If this sounds of interest to you please send me the best number and time to reach you so we can discuss the next steps.
