De Team Lead Operational Safety staat in voor het coachen en motiveren van teamleden. Hij/zij bewaakt de planning en verloning van de safety officers en zorgt tevens voor een brug naar de Operaties. Hij betrekt de Operational Supervisors bij zijn veiligheidstaken zodat zij een beter zicht krijgen op veilig werken en hun verantwoordelijkheden. Hij organiseert verschillende overlegmomenten, volgt de diverse projecten van de Operationele Veiligheidsdienst (OVD) op waarin hij alle actoren betrekt (dit in het kader van Arbeidsongevallen of ter preventie ervan).

Concreet omvat dit volgende taken:

  • De Team lead organiseert en bouwt de Operationele Veiligheidsdienst verder uit.
  • Neemt deel aan de daily action meeting, de wekelijkse AO review en maandelijkse meeting met HSSE & HR i.v.m. AO-cijfers. Hij/zij is hierbij verantwoordelijk voor het mee opvolgen van de agenda, de planning en uitvoering van acties die uit deze overlegmomenten komen en aan hem toegewezen worden.
  • Het organiseren van & participeren bij risicoanalyses.
  • Indien er bijkomende arbeidsongevallenonderzoeken/reconstructies vereist zijn zal de Team lead instaan om deze binnen de vereiste termijnen te organiseren. Hij/zij zal de preventiemaatregelen die na incidenten gesteld worden opvolgen en de uitvoering ervan borgen.
  • Actieve bijdrage tot het verminderen van (arbeids)ongevallen door het betrekken van de collega's binnen Operaties om zo het veiligheidsbewustzijn van alle werknemers te verhogen.
  • Monitoring en dragen van genomen beleidsbeslissingen: Standard Operation Procedure periodiek bekijken en indien nodig updaten. Projecten opvolgen. Deelnemen aan werkgroepen. Actief CEPA/HSSE betrekken in werkgroepen waar nodig.

Opleiding: Je bent in het bezit van een bachelor-diploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.

Ervaring: Minstens 2 tot 5 jaar ervaring in een gerelateerde rol. Ervaring in logistiek, operations, containerhaven of gelijkaardige industrie is een pluspunt.

Talen: Uitstekende kennis van Nederlands en Engels.

  • Coachende leider, een peoplemanager met een sterk EQ.
  • Sterk in procesmatig werken.
  • In teamverband kunnen werken.
  • Sterk in verbale en schriftelijke communicatie.
  • Sterk organisatievermogen.
  • Proactief/zelfstarter, zelf zaken oppikken en initiëren zonder expliciete opdracht.

De groep behandelt dagelijks zo'n . containers, verspreid over Azië, Amerika en Europa, met Singapore en Antwerpen als belangrijkste locaties. In Antwerpen baat PSA drie containerterminals uit; 2 daarvan zijn % eigendom van PSA (Noordzee Terminal en Europa Terminal), en 1 is een joint venture met TIL (MSC): De 'MSC PSA European Terminal', of kortweg MPET, de grootste container terminal van Europa.

MPET behandelt meer dan % van het totale Antwerpse containervolume.
