Build and lead a world-class engineering program management team
If driving innovation in consumer electronics excites you, this is your moment. As Director of Engineering Program Management at Loop, you'll lead the execution of groundbreaking products while shaping a high-performing team. This role is built for someone who thrives in complex challenges, moves fast without micromanagement, and knows how to scale processes that drive impact. You'll have the autonomy to define strategy, optimize execution, and push Loop forward as a category leader—all while being backed by a team that values your insights and supports data-driven decisions.
Lead program execution and drive innovation in consumer electronics
As the Director of Engineering Program Management, you'll own the execution of Loop's product and accessory roadmap, ensuring every launch meets the highest standards. You'll lead and grow a team of technical program managers, guiding them in strategy, prioritization, and execution. Your ability to bridge engineering, design, and research teams will be key in streamlining workflows and driving alignment. You'll also set up processes, tools, and KPIs to measure success, ensuring data informs every decision. With your technical depth in consumer electronics, you'll make high-judgment calls that push Loop's innovation forward.
Your other responsibilities:
- Mentor and scale a best-in-class Program Management team, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.
- Define and optimize program management processes to enhance efficiency across teams.
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with company objectives and product goals.
- Use data to evaluate program success and drive continuous improvement.
How you'll succeed as a Director of Engineering Program Management
You're a leader who thrives in fast-moving environments, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution. Your ability to drive cross-functional collaboration ensures smooth program execution, while your analytical mindset keeps projects on track. You know how to build and scale teams, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous learning.
These key competencies will set you up for success:
- 15+ years in program management, engineering, or a related field, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in managing complex product development programs from concept to launch.
- Strong analytical skills and experience making data-driven decisions.
- Background in consumer electronics, with the ability to guide technical and design discussions.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
Location
This role is hybrid, with a preference for candidates near our main hub in Antwerp. Relocation assistance is available.
