In short, we help transform traditional operations into a smart, customer‐centric, technology oriented and efficient operations.We are proud to be the trusted advisor of many EU and BE companies like Electrolux, KONE, Fluvius, Touring, Proximus, etc. We are now looking for a freelance ERP Process & Transformation Lead, based in Brussels, to drive a strategic ERP transformation for one of our clients, a global trading company in the textile industry operating across several legal entities with trading & warehousing in Europe and Asia, for a duration of minimum 6 months (with possible extension). Our client currently relies on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, now end‐of‐life and heavily customized. They are initiating a strategic ERP transformation with two objectives: Document & challenge existing business processes as implemented in AX2012. Select and prepare the transition to a future‐proof ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 as a potential candidate), remaining open to SAP or equivalent platforms. The ERP Process & Transformation Lead will act as a key driver of the ERP transformation, combining deep process analysis expertise with strong ERP system & project management knowledge, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem. Your main responsibilities: 1. Process Mapping (as-is / to-be) Analyze and document as-is end-to-end business processes as supported by AX2012 Review AX2012 standard functionalities, custom developments, and workarounds. Develop & challenge structured "to-be" process documentation. Assess business criticality of existing customizations. 2. ERP Selection & Target ERP Definition Translate business needs into ERP requirements; Lead the ERP selection process in full independence (RFP/RFI/Vendors evaluation) Conduct fit-gap analyses for D365, SAP, and other ERPs. Provide structured recommendations to management. 3. Stakeholder Management & Project Support Act as interface between business, finance, IT, and vendors. Challenge requirements constructively. Support roadmap definition. Profile we are looking for and requirements: Ability to understand, document & challenge as-is processes Ability to understand the high level setup of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Solid knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and of the Microsoft ecosystem. Openness and experience with other ERP platforms (SAP or equivalent) Experience in trading or distribution environments is an asset. Fluent in English and French Why join us?
