The GenAI Enablement Team is looking for a senior external consultant to strengthen the Software Factory (SoFa) team responsible for enabling and governing conversational AI solutions across the organization. The primary objective of this role is not only to support ongoing initiatives, but also to help define the future direction of our Copilot Studio platform and ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Copilot Studio and related Power Platform technologies.
  • Help define the roadmap and strategic vision for the evolution of the Copilot Studio Software Factory.
  • Evaluate best practices, architectural patterns, governance models, and platform capabilities.
  • Advise on scalability, maintainability, security, and operational excellence of conversational AI solutions.
  • Support the design and implementation of complex Copilot Studio solutions.
  • Guide teams on SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and release management practices.
  • Collaborate with architects to translate strategic concepts into implementable solutions.
  • Proactively stay ahead of the Copilot Studio innovation curve by rapidly absorbing new product releases and platform enhancements.
  • Assess new platform features and identify opportunities for adoption within the organization.
  • Coach and mentor internal team members in Copilot Studio and Power Platform best practices.
  • Contribute to documentation, standards, and reusable implementation patterns.

Required Experience

  • Extensive experience (2y+) with Microsoft Copilot Studio in enterprise environments.
  • Strong track record of keeping pace with Copilot Studio innovation and applying emerging capabilities to enterprise solution architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing conversational AI solutions.
  • Experience defining platform strategy, governance, and architectural guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working with GitHub and source control best practices.
  • Strong Azure knowledge, including authentication, integrations, monitoring, and cloud-native services.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation.
  • Experience working within complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and governance requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
