Senior Data Engineer - Antwerp (Freelance)As a data engineer, you'll be part of a team and focused on creating sustainable value for our client and its customers. You'll do this by making various types of data sources available to data scientists and Tableau experts.What will you be doing?Designing and developing technical solutions to collect, store, and analyze large volumes of dataBuilding and maintaining data pipelines both on-premises (Oracle) and in the cloud (AWS/Azure)Preparing and structuring data for data scientists and Tableau experts, translating data needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteriaDeveloping and managing data flows via (meta)pipelines, ensuring optimal batch processing and top-notch data qualityThoroughly documenting processes, pipelines, and solutionsYour backgroundAt least 5 years of experience in a similar roleFluent in Dutch with a good knowledge of EnglishStrong knowledge of Python and SQLExperience with ETL tools (e.g. Kubeflow, Pentaho)Knowledge of modern data warehousing, data modelling, and DBMSs (Redshift, Azure SQL, Synapse)Offer:Location: AntwerpOnsite Working: 2 days per weekContract Length: 3 months plus extensions Hourly Rate: Up to €95 (Dependent on experience) Start Date: January
