Senior Plant Director

For a leading international manufacturing organization, we are looking for a Senior Plant Director who will take full operational and strategic responsibility for a large production site.The RoleAs Plant Director, you are the most senior leader on site, with full P&L, operational, and strategic accountability. Your primary mission is to deliver a sustainable turnaround, restoring core performance levels while building a future-proof manufacturing platform.You will define and execute a strategic roadmap that positions the site as a benchmark for operational excellence.You will be a key driver of a cultural transformation, fostering ownership, decision-making, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesFull accountability for site performance, financial results, and operational excellenceDelivering significant and sustainable improvements across all key KPIs (productivity, cost, waste, safety)Leading, coaching, and developing the site leadership team with a strong focus on ownership and performanceActing as the primary driver of change management and large-scale transformation initiativesShifting the organization to a strategic, forward-looking mindsetBuilding and maintaining constructive relationships with unions and other social partnersMaking decisive, data-driven decisions to close performance gaps and unlock opportunitiesEnsuring high standards in safety, quality, and operational disciplineYour ProfileMaster's degreeExtensive experience as a Plant Director or in a comparable senior manufacturing leadership roleProven track record in leading successful turnarounds in complex operational environmentsDemonstrated experience with large-scale change management and cultural transformationExceptional people leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, develop, and make tough decisionsHighly results-driven, proactive, and accountable leadership styleStrong business and financial acumenExperience managing social relations within a European industrial contextResilient, entrepreneurial leader motivated by challenge and complexityStrategic thinker with strong execution capabilityFluency in English and French is requiredThe OfferThis is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role with full accountability for a strategic manufacturing site.
