QC analist/scientist
il y a 4 semaines
B. is readily available and an allrounder in the lab. He has experience with analytical chemistry and within the R&D industry. In addition, he is someone who likes to roll up his sleeves and is flexible and communicative. Someone who can work autonomously, but also works smoothly in a team.
B. is a chemist with expertise in organic and reaction chemistry who gathered experience in research & development working in both an academic and industrial environment. Through his previous involvements, he is very much at home in and around the laboratory. He is able to push research projects independently by critically studying the state-of-the-art in scientific literature as well as implementing novel scientific concepts and ideas, and translating them to practical lab experiments. B. is also knowledgeable in several analytical techniques such as chromatography (HPLC, GC, GPC) and spectroscopy (NMR, IR) which allows him to select the proper tools for the (lab) job. Quality minded and result driven, B. can clearly report and communicate on his observed findings and takes great joy in being able to achieve a set goal, preferably working together with like-minded peers.
His organic synthesis background allows him to bring an in-depth understanding of organic compounds, compound classes and inter-/intramolecular interactions to the table. Some of his previous work involved the de facto development of novel reactions aimed at the direct functionalization of saturated nitrogen-heterocycle scaffolds, which are highly relevant core structures in the pharmaceutical industry.
B. also participated in industrial projects focusing on materials recycling in the context of a ‘circular economy’ as well as the search for suitably alternative and sustainable polymeric materials – ideally from bio-renewable feedstocks – offering a potential solution to the fossil carbon feedstock issues that the world faces today. Here, his organic chemistry background allows him to research interesting alternative molecules/molecule classes in a meaningful way in that he can build up conceptual project proposals.
B. is looking for a position where he can further implement his analytic skills while contributing to innovative achievements within QC in the pharma/production area or R&D.
