Your role in our team:

  1. Define, design solution(s) & application(s) architecture in line with our customers' IT strategy and standards.
  2. Evaluate (IP) solutions, products & tools.
  3. Foster re-use of components, application blocks, and solutions.
  4. Ensure the usage of best practices and standards in terms of deployment, development, and integration.
  5. Close collaboration with IT experts & implementation teams.
  6. Evaluate & propose the most adequate solution for a customer problem and the integration in their IT landscape.
  7. Evaluate & propose the most adequate development platform regarding the project context.
  8. Provide a well-suited application architecture to cover business needs.
  9. Take charge of all integration aspects regarding the new application implementation.
  10. Act as an expert in responding to RFPs.
  11. Assess the solution built against the envisioned design.
  12. Eager to share experience and take part in lessons learned exercises.
  13. Active follow-up of trends in technology.

How you strengthen our team:

  1. Large experience in designing complex IT systems is required.
  2. Able to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs.
  3. Knowledge and practical experience in software, development & integration design patterns.
  4. Broader experience in application architecture designing at functional level.
  5. Experience in custom application design and development (.NET, Java, Python, etc.) is a plus.
  6. Autonomous and able to work in agile teams.
  7. Must be able to communicate effectively with team members in different roles, from business representatives to developers.
  8. Knowledge and experience in integrating with cloud environments.
  9. Broader experience with main solutions used in the utility sector is a plus.
  10. Knowledge of SAP and/or experience in integrating with SAP is a plus.
  11. Knowledge of GIS and/or experience in integrating with GIS is a plus.
  12. Knowledge on modern development using DevOps and Cloud platforms is a plus.
  13. Active experience in answering or composing Requests For Proposals is a plus.
  14. Experienced in using frameworks, standards, methodologies, and tools for architecture purposes (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, Archimate, UML, C4 model, BPMN, SOA).

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. A graduate (master's degree) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent.
  2. Native French or Dutch with a good level of English.
