Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Technical Facility Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in building-related technology and demonstrate the ability to analyze and interpret complex building information to make strategic decisions. This role requires a balance of technical proficiency and a strong focus on people-centricity to ensure optimal facility management and operation.
Key Responsibilities- Building Technology Management: Utilize advanced knowledge of building systems to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of the Proximus Real Estate portfolio.
- Information Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret building data, blueprints, and technical documents to identify issues and determine the best strategies for improvements and upgrades.
- Strategy Development: Define and develop strategic plans for building and facility management, incorporating innovative technologies and best practices to enhance overall building performance and sustainability.
- Project Management: Oversee technology-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery while coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and maintenance staff.
- People-Centric Focus: Foster a positive and productive work environment by prioritizing the needs and well-being of building occupants and facility team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Educational Background: Master's degree in Economics with a specialty in technical and process management (Six Sigma, ITIL or similar).
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in technical building management or a similar technical role with a strong emphasis on building technology and systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using facility management software, building automation systems, and other relevant technologies.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze technical data and documents, and to develop strategic solutions based on findings.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on team collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated aptitude for identifying and resolving complex technical issues within building environments.
