For more information, visit Why This Role Matters The mission of Finance is articulated around 3 functional areas, 1) protect the business assets, 2) fuel the business with timely & accurate insight & analytics and 3) co-drive a sustainable business growth & expansion. Your core mission as Finance Business Partner is to co-drive with the General Manager the Business Unit financial performance and business growth, representing finance inside the Business unit, actively contributing as a member of the unit leadership team, helping them understanding, controlling and improving “their Business”, by bringing insight to decision-making, improving visibility on the cost drivers, adding financial acumen into the strategic initiatives as well the day to day activities. You will report Directly to Head of Finance Europe and dotted line to the location’s General Manager. You will be also part of the Business Unit’s leadership team and the Europe Finance leadership team, contributing to elevate the finance function to the next level. Your Key Responsibilities Actively contribute as a member of the Unit leadership team and the local Work’s Council to achieving the Unit’s objectives and member of Europe Finance leadership teams enhancing the finance function. In collaboration with FP&A team, build, share and explain ‘the’ story behind the numbers (P&L, WC, manufacturing cost, top lines and pricing evolution...). Provide the business unit GM and Head of Finance recommendations to improve the business performance and co-drive the actions with the different stakeholders. Provide local financial leadership, balance growth opportunities with risk and be an objective member of the decision-making process. Analysis of actual results vs. budget or forecast and presenting results, Identifying, recommending or supporting cost savings and/or performance improvement initiatives. People Management: lead, motivate & coach one Financial Analyst (plan tasks & priorities, set targets, follow-up personal developments plans & ensure proper trainings and resources). What We Are Looking For Master degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or similar. Accounting qualification, ACCA, CIMA or similar will be a strong plus. Minimum 7 years with progressive roles in finance. Previous FP&A, Finance Business Partnering and/or financial management role is mandatory. li>Previous experience in manufacturing environment, with an exposure to Sales & Business Development. Ability to work, influence and drive inside a matrix environment. Previous involvement in an ERP implementation is an asset. Fluency in English is mandatory. Willingness to travel regularly +-10% of the time. We are looking for a strong analytical and numerical mind who is confident to work with complex and large amounts of data.
