Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Risk Officer (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Antwerp.Our client is a fast growing company active in the financial services and risk management.As Risk Officer (m/f/x),you will be responsible for:Define yearly control planDesign and implement local controls Perform controls for the Compliance / Risk functionIdentify and analyze operational risks and ensures the appropriateness of the measures taken to manage these risksEvaluate KYC-AML risk of the Benelux customers. Perform the Customer Due Diligence and make recommendations about the acceptability of the customer.Submit proposals to the local / international Anti-Money Laundering Officer (AMLO) and (in time) will decide on the acceptance of risks within your own decision authority. Besides assessing risks, you will have the opportunity to participate in various internal projects and eventually contribute to the development of policies and procedures (Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), business continuity management, IT security, fraud prevention, GDPR, KYC)Contribute to the preparation of the Risk CommitteeCreate risk awareness within the organization The required profile for the Risk Officer (m/f/x) position: You have at least a bachelor's degree in an economic field, complemented by additional training in financial topics if possible. You have at least 3 years of relevant risk analysis experience in the financial sector.You have strong analytical skills with a sense of synthesis, an eye for detail and good writing skills. You are well organized, accurate and can handle deadlines.Good time management and email management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English, French is a plus.You are a team player with excellent interpersonal skills who can also work independently.Ability to work under pressure and use own initiativeAbility to identify and put forward new ideas for improvementsPro-active and willing to be flexible in work requiredWillingness to learnAct with integrity at all times and embrace the philosophy of treating customers fairlyAbility to identify and monitor risksYou have a broad interest in economicsInterested in this position of Risk Officer (m/f/x) at a dynamic company?
