Area Sales Manager - Belgium and Luxemburg - Orthopaedic Implants

Planet Pharma is currently working with a growing medical device company who are looking to further establish their European footprint, and they are looking for an experienced sales professional to join the team.

As part of this role, you will be covering Belgium and Luxemburg selling our clients' orthopaedic implants, specifically hip and knee implants. This is 100% field based across Belgium and Luxemburg and you'll be responsible for regularly meeting surgeons and other key decision makers in hospitals building and maintaining existing relationships.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring periodic achievement as per business plan
  • Participating in proper transfer pricing discussions with country head in accordance to market dynamics and company pricing strategy
  • Identifying, building, managing and growing an effective network of distributors, sub-distributors and independent sales agents to increase product penetration as per organisational business and growth objectives
  • Carrying out in-depth market research and market mapping

This is a new role created in the business due to high demand for products on the market.

For this position, our client is looking for those who have extensive sales experience with orthopaedic devices, particularly hip and knee implants. You must be happy to travel across Belgium and Luxemburg. Travel costs will be reimbursed.
