Polysense is one of Ghent’s fastest growing start-ups supported by visionary investors Peter Hinssen and Alexander Dewulf. In the coming years, we want to further expand our presence across the industry and onboard even more leading manufacturing companies. This way we strive to disrupt the industry and move artificial intelligence from innovation to operation.
Who are you?- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
- Experienced in back-end and front-end frameworks
- Experience in Django and Vue is a plus.
- Know your way around a terminal.
- Knowledge of cloud environments is a plus.
- A creative spirit with an eye for detail.
- Fluent in English for both verbal and written communication.
- Fluent in Dutch for both verbal and written communication (This is a plus.)
- Eager to use your technical knowledge to make a positive mark on the environment.
- A critical, open and honest mind. After all, we are building this company together.
- Flexible, motivated and ambitious.
- Eager to learn on the job and to share knowledge with your team.
The key to successful adoption of AI solutions lies in the end user interaction. As a full-stack developer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our solutions. Your job will entail the following tasks:
- Design web applications focused towards user experience and user interaction to ensure easy adoption of new AI solutions.
- Develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate machine learning models into production environments.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between the front-end, back-end, and AI components.
- Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy, manage, and monitor applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack of application development.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance our products.
