Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
2. Preparation of financial statements and accounting transactions (GAAP & IFRS)
3. Analytical and intercompany transactions
4. Monthly closing and reconciliation (SAP)
5. Quality and Continuous improvement
6. Collaborate with finance team in HQ (Germany)
7. Tax Compliance and reporting

Profile

1. Professional experience preferably in the subsidiary of an international group
2. Experience of accounting processes gained through min 5 years of experience
3. Deep knowledge of accounting standards both Belgian GAAP and IFRS (IFRS15 revenue recognition; IFRS16 leasing; deferred taxes)
4. Proficiency in IT and accounting tools: MS Office and SAP preferably
5. Ability to collaborate in Dutch, French and English.
6. Very good understanding of company tax and VAT: ability to prepare and/or review declaration
7. Good analytical and synthesizing skills
8. Can do and continuous improvement mentality
