Non-Life Underwriter – 27954

Currently looking for a highly motivated, qualified and an outgoing professional to assume the position of Non-life Underwriter for the management center located in Brussels, Belgium.

Key Duties (including but not limited to):

Marketing/client Management:

• Handling client/broker relations, identifying and developing new business potential and new clients in collaboration with various operations of the company within Europe.
• Clearly and positively articulating proposition and risk appetite internally and externally.
• Anticipate client needs, monitor trends in order to recommend changes and work with business partners to provide solutions.
• Technical Pricing of the treaties.
• Managing timely and efficient review of quotes that are requested by brokers/clients.
• Ensuring proper documentation of pricing review done and decisions made.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Law or similar.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in (re)insurance.
• Languages: Dutch/French and English.
• Excellent organization and communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as an ability to work cross-functionally.
