Finance Manager About the Role Our client is a fast-growing and ambitious scale-up company that has established itself as a market leader in its sector. To support their continued growth they are looking for a Finance Manager who will help define and steer the financial direction of the company. This is a high-impact role in which you will take responsibility for the financial processes and play a key role in the further professionalisation of the company. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will not only monitor financial performance but also think strategically and support the finance team with guidance and practical expertise. Responsibilities Oversee and ensure accuracy in all accounting operations, including a timely and correct month-end closing process. Identify and implement process improvements with a focus on automation, efficiency, and scalability. Lead financial projects as project manager, while also supporting team members in their own initiatives - including sharing expertise, drafting project plans, engaging stakeholders, and reporting on progress. Prepare regular financial reports and perform in-depth analyses to support decision-making by senior management. Manage the consolidation process across multiple entities or business units. Coordinate external audits and ensure full compliance with local tax regulations and statutory obligations. Support day-to-day financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense management. Your Profile Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial controlling. Solid knowledge of accounting principles and consolidation processes. Proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written). French is a bonus. Experience with financial systems and reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail. Confident communicator who can clearly explain complex financial matters to a variety of stakeholders. Proactive, hands-on, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced and evolving business environment. What’s Offered A 12 month contract with a competitive daily rate.
